SUMRALL, MISSISSIPPI

Sumrall, MS - a small "soon-to-boom" community of 1000 has a 27 member volunteer fire department. Preparing for the "boom", Sumrall FD purchased their first Compressed Air Foam engine - a 2007 Sunbelt Fire E-1 on a custom chassis, a Hale 1500 gpm pump and a Waterous 80-SP pto caf system. The above photos were taken during the Waterous CAF Delivery Instruction class. Note the heavy clouds in some of the photos and the flags in the group photos. The storm hit moments later causing a grass fire - the engine's first response.

Grand Prairie Fire Department, Grand Prairie, TX GPFD has recently implemented CAF with one new engine (2007 Pierce Hercules) and completed retro-fits on two Pierce engines (2004 & 2006) using Waterous systems.
